Excited to be explore design, Simón created a small design exercise involving recycled wood from the scraps of a local wood-shop. Using a limit supply of tools and material size he explored the fixed size lengths of cedar trim. Simón Designed and Made a nightstand. As he made the object a meticulous nature revealed itself. The lessons of designing and then prototyping are essential for revealing where and how design changes can and need to be implemented.
